Discussion Panel: Developing A Trauma Lens

12:35pm – 1:30pm on Friday 9/5
A Q&A session on the topic of complex developmental trauma with leading experts in the field. The complexity of symptoms brought on by early adversity and trauma can be very challenging and persist for a lifetime. As children from hard places grow and develop, they can develop many maladaptive coping mechanisms like lying, stealing, or food hoarding, and can develop a litany of psychological issues such as oppositional defiant disorder, ADHD, or borderline personality disorder. They may also have attachment issue that interfere in their ability to maintain healthy relationships. In this session, our speakers will attempt to provide answers based on their experiences. You may hear a wide variety of answers that will hopefully translate to applicable strategies in your home or work place.

There will be a bowl at the information center for you to drop your questions anytime before the session.
